[MEMORIES # 21, 22, 23 / SKILL # 5]
I THINK ALL MY LINKS IN HERE ARE BUSTED RN, I'LL PUT THEM IN LATER
* Meeting the young Suleyman on the beach. "Eh? Did you peek? Ehhh?"
[Game 181 – Battler’s heart - Dream | Day 237 | shareable 2/5 (sugar holly, 3 leaves + 2 berries)]
A memory based on this brief flashback plus this omake panel; it’s set roughly three hundred years before Trinity Blood’s events, when Suleyman Duke of Tigris was in his teens – teens by both Terran and Methuselah standards. Seth wants to meet him face to face for once and chooses to pose as a flower-seller on the seashore to do it. It’s a very windy day and by chance the breeze blows off Suleyman’s fancy hat, whipping it towards Seth – she didn’t arrange this, it was just a happy coincidence. She jumps up to catch it and comes jogging over the sand to return it to him. “That was close, sir!” she laughs, and then “Would you like to buy a flower?”
He does so and then she starts teasing him – “Whoaaa, that wind today! I can barely keep myself from being swept off by it . . .” “Yes, it is rather strong, isn’t it?” “Yeah, you sure got a good view when it went up my skirt, huh?” “N-no! I didn’t—“ “Eh? Did you peek? Ehhhh?” The conversation goes on in that vein for awhile, and then takes a more serious turn – “You’re quite a forward girl, aren’t you?” “Eheh . . . I was encouraged! Most nobles would have commanded me to stop by now.” It goes on in that vein a little, Suleyman revealing that he thinks Methuselah aren’t inherently superior to Terran, and they part on good terms; Seth walks away thinking that the young Duke of Tigris has the right attitude.
+ um cute
+ 10 lightheartedness.
+ 50 ALL THE REGRETS LATER ON since Suleyman grows up and eventually loses the sense of Terran and Methuselah being equal, grows bitter at the Empress, and winds up a traitor.
+ Taken.
-
* Feeding birds at the top of a high palace tower.
[Game 183 – fate - Odile | Day 239 | nonshareable (ruby heart to smash)]
This is just a quick quiet positive memory, and is based on this gorgeous artbook image. She goes up there for some alone time, feeds the birds, and just generally relaxes.
+ occasionally feeding the snow buntings when there’s food to spare finally?
+ but probably not near Mogget.
+ 10 naturedere.
+ Taken.
-
* Returning to Earth after Armageddon.
[Game 184 – cookie jars – Mother/Gingerbread Witch | Day 240 | shareable 4/4 (tea cookies)]
Coming home. Unease at what they'll find. The face of the planet is blasted. Disgust at what humanity did to itself by grabbing for power.
+ Taken offscreen.

* Crusnik activation.
[skill Game 33 – feats – Guinevere | Day 236 | ripe pear]
THE HEADMONSTER SKILL. As of Day 240 the Crusnik nanomachines have been reactivated in Seth’s blood. She is currently suffering the initial activation effects – a high fever, extreme pain and inability to get around or take in anything but fluids, her circulatory system playing perfectly visible wacky hijinks (JASPER SHE IS LYING VERY STILL WITH UGLY BLACK VEINS ALL OVER HER PRETTY MUCH), general BODILY AND MENTAL AGONY. Crusnik is a sentient thing which means she now also has it in her head screaming I’M HUNGRY I’M HUNGRY I’M HUNGRY FEED ME RIP TEAR KILL at this time and has to remember how to force it down.
When she has recovered a couple of things will be put into play!
- It will have worked her body over so any scars she had before are now gone. Her healing factor hasn’t returned yet but all wounds she receives from now on will also heal without scars.
- Once she finishes a quest for Methuselah blood and drinks it, that will quiet Crusnik down to bearable levels, but Crusnik will always be there. It’s always hungry. She will try not to let on that she has a headmonster. GENERALLY she will be okay because there are no Methuselah around in Aather yet, but when Radu gets in and activates his nanomachines (thus becoming Crusnik’s natural prey) that’ll be interesting.
- Once she has Methuselah blood in her system she should be able to engage Crusnik via voice command: “Nanomachine Crusnik 03. [x]% activation. Acknowledged.” and deactivate it again afterwards. She can only activate it up to 10% at the moment, and needs to earn further skills to unlock higher activations and many of her special abilities.
- 10% activation means her appearance changes to this: fangs, claws, red eyes, strange hair. She is a little faster, a little stronger, a little more durable and with more natural weapons. The boost is not substantial enough yet that she will feel the need to activate Crusnik in fights unless it’s dire enough that she needs an extra edge, but it’s a start.
- Crusnik canonly shorts out if it’s engaged too much with too little blood and I’m ramping this up in Aather to use as a natural powercap. Once she's gotten the initial dose of blood she can activate and deactivate easily at any level, but if she activates at 10% more than thrice in one day or sustains a single 10% activation for more than half an hour she hits powercap.
- IN THE FUTURE WHEN SHE EARNS THEM 40% activation can be done twice in a day/sustained for up to fifteen minutes, and using any particularly powerful moves requires her to take a dose of blood beforehand. 80% can only be done once a day/sustained for up to five minutes, and requires a double dose of blood beforehand. She will never go past 80% (Crusnik becomes increasingly uncontrollable past that, and if she ever tries 100% it would take her mind and body over completely.) In general the labor demand to use a lot of Crusnik capabilities (since blood quests are difficult), plus Eve's own predilection for not letting people know about her powers, means that Crusnik won't come out all that often in Aather.
