EVE'S HEART
A dark veil slips over you, obscuring your vision; it’s cool and clinging, and blocks out all outside sensation. You drift downward . . . as you do, you grow more and more aware of the pulse of your own heartbeat, until it’s a ringing, unpleasant throb in your ears.
. . . after some time, it’s interrupted by a soft splash, and you feel solid rock underfoot.
((Please join #fleshbloodbone. All your character’s skills are on and uncapped; they will also have access to any items they carry normally!))

Re: flesh (by daylight)
You emerge in the market square you saw, eventually; something brushes past you again as you do.
Re: flesh (by daylight)
Re: flesh (by daylight)
You feel a little dizzy.
Re: flesh (by daylight)
Re: flesh (by daylight)
"Two down! Two down!"
Re: flesh (by daylight)
[...But this place is a maze, uh...]
...Mind leading Star there?
Re: flesh (by daylight)
Re: flesh (by daylight)
Wherever I'm supposed to go to clear out the next rose.
[That... doesn't really help much though, huh... Let's see...]
...Maybe a hospital? Or a fancy house. Or a fortune teller, or... Aather, maybe?
[There's another one, but I'd... rather not lead kids there. All sorts of things can go wrong.]
Re: flesh (by daylight)
They start pointing you in all directions.
Re: flesh (by daylight)
[Well, let's go for the fortune teller, then. That one looks easy, at least.]
Re: flesh (by daylight)
THREE! YOU'RE ON A ROLL!
Re: flesh (by daylight)
Re: flesh (by daylight)
Re: flesh (by daylight)
That being said, I'll... try to avoid anything that looks serious.]
Re: flesh (by daylight)
ATTAGIRL! GO GO GO!
Re: flesh (by daylight)
[I'll just bow in apology to everyone in the room and sneak my way out. Let's see, what's next uh...
Random fancy house...?]
Re: flesh (by daylight)
"All right, all right! I'm convinced!"
Re: flesh (by daylight)
[Not that I mind, since it means I can avoid the brothel, but...]
Re: flesh (by daylight)
Re: flesh (by daylight)
Well, I'll write a message to Eve while I follow:
"Star's glad she didn't have to actually go into a brothel to finish the game. Those kinds of places are dangerous though, is it really okay to have people enter it for a game?
Even if it isn't needed."]
Re: flesh (by daylight)
You get a response: It's all right, I promise she left out the angry dissidents.
Re: flesh (by daylight)
And might as well respond while I'm at it.
"More worried about what would happen if Pitch wound up in there."
...I'm sorry, I'm kind of concerned about Pitch when it comes to this kind of thing.]
Re: flesh (by daylight)
It's a lovely city, you'll notice, unusually clean and free of homeless, although it seems to be divided into obvious sections: richer and poorer areas of town. They layout is complicated but fairly well-planned; there are also no cars, though you see well-dressed men and women riding horses in some of the richer quarters. There's also a palace in the distance, though you're not headed there . . .
You return to the beach instead.
