EVE'S HEART
A dark veil slips over you, obscuring your vision; it’s cool and clinging, and blocks out all outside sensation. You drift downward . . . as you do, you grow more and more aware of the pulse of your own heartbeat, until it’s a ringing, unpleasant throb in your ears.
. . . after some time, it’s interrupted by a soft splash, and you feel solid rock underfoot.
((Please join #fleshbloodbone. All your character’s skills are on and uncapped; they will also have access to any items they carry normally!))

Then I suppose there's no problem.
[pacing forward to peek at the plates of food and uncover some of the covered ones]
Re: flesh (the kitchen)
There is also one coral-pink plate; two sapphire-blue plates (one covered); two kunzite-pink plates (one covered); a ruby-red plate; a black plate; two silver plates (one covered); and seven gold plates.
They all appear to hold delicious food! Which ones are you uncovering?

A rabbit - contains an assortment of fresh-baked, dainty little cakes.
A fox - contains something black: squid and squid ink risotto.
A tentacle monster - contains jellyfish topped with century eggs.
A pigeon - contains an odd mix of grain and sugared rose petals.
A porcupine - contains slippery-looking udon noodles.
A . . . hideous cross between a cat and a pigeon - contains what looks like an assortment of random ingredients put together in a casserole.
A snake - contains some sort of reddish-orange stew.

Re: flesh (the kitchen)
A bristling cat: Roasted small whole fish and the wings of small birds; there seem to be several kinds arranged on the plate.
A sharp-beaked bird: Beetroot chips.
A crab: Bouillabaisse, very heavy on the seafood.
A bear: Small cubes of tofu with some kind of dark sauce poured over them.
A hedgehog: Slices of some kind of stuffed fowl (possibly chicken?) -- the stuffing seems to be a mix of bread, cheese, and dried fruit.
Re: flesh (the kitchen)
...eats one of the beetroot chips. BUT THAT'S IT I REFUSE TO STAY HERE ALL DAY]

This is somewhat more inedible.

. . . since you're Jasper, I can send you where you'd like, I suppose."
Re: flesh (the kitchen)
You need to remake the dish so it does not have this problem.
Re: flesh (the kitchen)
Re: flesh (the kitchen)
[but I guess I could probably try to fix this problem on my own. I COULD AT LEAST TRY TO SOFTEN THEM WITH SOMETHING. tasting some of the bouillabaisse broth experimentally]
Re: flesh (the kitchen)
(Liking? Respect...?)
Re: flesh (the kitchen)
