EVE'S HEART
A dark veil slips over you, obscuring your vision; it’s cool and clinging, and blocks out all outside sensation. You drift downward . . . as you do, you grow more and more aware of the pulse of your own heartbeat, until it’s a ringing, unpleasant throb in your ears.
. . . after some time, it’s interrupted by a soft splash, and you feel solid rock underfoot.
((Please join #fleshbloodbone. All your character’s skills are on and uncapped; they will also have access to any items they carry normally!))

Re: flesh (by daylight)
[...Wait, I should probably say more than that.]
...Could you explain what the game is before Star decides?
Re: flesh (by daylight)
"If you can find where these lies go, you'll see the truth of the matter."

Well then, first, I should... Probably write down some stuff to myself for future reference:
"Truth for a truth
Lie for a lie
game to stay
Find where all the lies belong and see the truth.
Also, that sunset is way too bright."]
Then... Star'll take a truth, a lie, and then play the game, so let's see...
Is any truth or lie fine, or does it have to be something special?
Re: flesh (by daylight)
Re: flesh (by daylight)
Back home, there were earthquakes that attacked people's minds and killed them. Star's pretty sure the bad guys were behind it.
[That's... one truth, at least?]
Re: flesh (by daylight)
You are struck with one of Eve's memories: going through the halls of a university, sitting in a class, reading through textbooks -- and knowing that this is a cover, that her actual reason for being here is to look for clues to the rumors of illicit, unregistered blood donations being made. Being a detective, in other words.
Re: flesh (by daylight)
...Star gets along great with all of Jasper.
[...It's a lie I wish were true, okay? I'm pretty sure that most of Jasper hates me.]
Re: flesh (by daylight)
She hands you a second rose: this one is of dancing in a market square, surrounded by delighted and clapping children. This memory is completely sensory, with no indication of what she's thinking or feeling while doing this.
Re: flesh (by daylight)
Then... Time for the game.
Re: flesh (by daylight)
She tugs a green handkerchief out of nowhere and makes all the roses into a little bouquet, so you can hang onto them without touching them directly and triggering all the memories at once.
Re: flesh (by daylight)
Then, Star what exactly does "find where they go" mean? Does Star just need to put them in the right room, or is it more complicated than that?
[...Maybe I should have asked before I started, but let's assume that you're willing to play fair.]

Re: flesh (by daylight)
[Well then, I will... follow the shoreline. And maybe send Pitch a message while I head over there:
"Say something that's true and something that's a lie. It's kind of important."
Let's see how this works...]
Re: flesh (by daylight)
The sunlight gives way to the colder artificial light of a university hallway, lined with lockers and filled with students in white uniform, occupied with talking to each other.
Re: flesh (by daylight)
Re: flesh (by daylight)
The first is Eve posing as a university student, which you already saw in more depth. The second is the market square performance. The third is Eve, scantily clad, in an expensive bordel (...she's just posing, not doing anything); the fourth is Eve serving as a maid in a fancy house; the fifth is her as a nurse, helping with patients; the sixth is her seated across from a customer passing her hands over a crystal ball, clearly fortunetelling; the seventh is . . . standing in the Ring after an Aather game.
